Interpretation
Ìrẹtẹ̀ Méjì is the Odu of 'The Physical Body' and 'The Earth.' It teaches that our spiritual high-aspirations must be anchored in the physical reality of our environment. The 'Footprint' represents our legacy—the impact we leave on the world. To walk the 'straight road' of destiny, one must be willing to 'press down' (Ìrẹtẹ̀) through discipline and initiation, rather than floating on the surface of ego.
