The Verse of the Sacred Word

Philosophical Summary

'The tongue is a bird, the teeth are its cage. Divined for the one who seeks the power of Aṣẹ...' This verse teaches that spiritual manifestation is directly tied to the integrity of one's word and the ability to control one's speech.

Interpretation

Otura Meji is the Odu of 'The Word' and 'The Prophet.' It teaches that every sound we make is a seed planted in the ether. The 'Cage' of the teeth represents the necessary filtration and discipline before speech is released. If the word is 'crooked' or lying, the Aṣẹ is weakened and cannot manifest. If the word is 'Straight' (Òtítọ́), it gains the weight of natural law, and the universe has no choice but to align with it.
