proverb
Truth, Like the Sun, Cannot Be Hidden for Long
truthsunlightrevelationinevitability
Philosophical Summary
Eji Ogbe IS the morning sun. Its very arrival ends the night — not by fighting darkness, but simply by being what it is. The proverb completes that teaching by equating the sun with Truth (Otito). Clouds can cover the sun temporarily; lies can obscure truth for a season. But the sun's nature is to rise again, and truth's nature is to eventually become visible. For the Eji Ogbe initiate, this is both a warning (their own untruth will surface) and a comfort (the truth about their gifts and destiny will also surface).
