A story where the world was filled with chaotic colors that blinded the people. Ọbàtálá performed the sacrifice to Òfún Méjì and created the 'White Cloth,' which absorbed all the confusion and restored clarity to the eyes of humanity. This story teaches that 'Simplicity is the mother of Vision.'
There was a time when the world was filled with thousands of conflicting colors that shimmered and clashed, making it impossible for humans to focus their sight or think clearly. People were wandering blind and confused. Ọbàtálá consulted the oracle, and Òfún Méjì (the Odù of pure white energy) appeared. Ọbàtálá performed a great sacrifice and wove the first piece of pure white cloth. He held it up to the horizon, and the cloth began to draw the chaotic colors back into itself, leaving behind the clean, white light of clarity.
